The Flying Bats and Sydney Rangers Football Clubs, along with Pride Football Australia, will host the International Gay and Lesbian Football Association (IGLFA) World Championships XXIV in Sydney in 2023. This event will bring together LGBTIQA+ people and allies from across the world to participate in a soccer tournament from 19 – 23 February 2023 to coincide with Sydney WorldPride.
The Championship will promote visibility and inclusion of LGBTIQA+ people in football and sport globally. It will welcome players of diverse 
sexualities and genders, and a range of skill levels, to join together in an inclusive environment free from discrimination.
Sydney Rangers is an inclusive football club and are a mix of players from different backgrounds, races, ages, abilities and sexualities. Although most in the club identify as gay, there are many players and officials who identify as bisexual or straight. Sexuality is not an obstacle when playing for Sydney Rangers FC or being part of our club.
We currently have more than 100 members and we’re growing every year, so whether you’re a novice or professional player, we want you to become an active member of our community.
