Welcome to Queer Readers 2022!

Queer Readers would like to thank everyone who supported us through 2021 and look forward to another year of great books ahead!

The new 2022 Reading list is now available in the ‘What We Read’ section of the website.

Our next meeting is scheduled for Monday 21st February 2022 at 6.30pm in the New Farm Library meeting room. We are closely monitoring the Covid 19 situation and will keep you notified of any changes to the in-person meetings. February’s theme is ‘History’ with a selection of books containing a historical theme.

“Confessions of the Fox’ by Jordy Rosenberg, 2018. 352pp. 5 copies.

‘Dark Secrets: The true story of murder in HMAS Australia’ by Robert Hadler, 2020. 320 pp, 4 copies.

’The Glamour Boys: The secret story of the rebels who fought for Britain to defeat Hitler’ by Chris Bryant, 2020. 424 pp, 10 copies.

If you have any other book, film, television/streaming, or event recommendations we’d love to hear them in the second half of our meeting.

We are taking suggestions for books and themes for July-Dec 2022. Please send them through for consideration.
