About this event
On Friday 8 April, young LGBTQI+ people and allies from across the Inner West are invited to dance the night away at Queer Prom. It will be a fun and safe environment to celebrate and connect with fellow members of the rainbow community.
Come along for a night of dancing, refreshments, and entertainment provided by local queer comedians Jenna Suffern and Brendan Hancock. The dress code: Op-Shop Chic! Dress up in all your daggy and sequinned glory for your shot at winning a “Best Dressed” prize.
This is an Inner West Council event for LGBTQI+ people aged 12–18 years. With free entry and complimentary transport home (in the Inner West area) at the end of the night, everyone is welcome!
The venue is wheelchair accessible and Auslan interpreters will be available on the night. If you require support to attend this event, financial or otherwise, please do not hesitate to email iwrainbowcommunity@gmail.com.
A COVID-19 Safety Plan is in place for this event and we will adhere to any advice from NSW Health.
