Brisbane Pride Youth Formal 2026

Brisbane Pride is proud to present the return of the Brisbane Pride Formal, providing a safe space for LGBTQIA+ students and young people.

Unfortunately, even with fantastic, progressive and supportive policies in Queensland schools, there are still many students who suffer discrimination, fear, anxiety and exclusion when it comes to attending their school formal celebrations.

This event is for our queer youth to express themselves however they feel most comfortable, to attend with who they love and to have a fantastic night celebrating who they are in style with their LGBTQIA+ peers.

The Brisbane Pride Formal is proudly sponsored by the LGBTQIA+ Community, Brisbane Pride Festival & Brisbane City Council and is a 100% free event being held in the Brisbane Room at Brisbane City Hall.

Tickets include a two-course meal, a night of fabulous entertainment, including performances by local entertainers and DJ’s as well as some of Brisbane’s best Drag Performers!

This is a 100% Drug and Alcohol Free Event

Tickets are available to any school-aged students in Queensland (up to 21 years old); partners are not restricted by age but are reminded this is a youth event, focused and centred on supporting school-aged youth.

Tickets are open to LGBTIQIA+ Students as well as their Allies and Friends.
